Recruitment of Entomologists (BS-17) in the Department of Plant Protection.

The offers of appointment for contractual posts of Entomologist (BS-17) in the Department of Plant Protection (DPP) under the Ministry of National Food Security and Research have been issued to 100 successful candidates on 18^th March, 2021.

The recruitment has been made in line with vision of the Prime Minister and the Federal Minister for National Food Security &Research to strengthen the operational preparedness of Department of Plant Protection to effectively counter the threat of desert locust in the country.
The recruitment process was finalized in the light of relevant rules/instructions of the Government under the direct supervision of Federal Secretary Ministry of National Food Security &Research in order to ensure transparency and meritbased recruitment. The newly recruited Entomologists will participate in the ongoing campaign for surveillance and timely control of locust in the length and breadth of the country.
