SCOPE
- Increase production 15-20 % of Yak through support to yak farmers for proper feeding, breeding, disease control, shelter & management.
- Development of yak promotion clusters in potential valleys.
- Development of feedlot fattening of market-able animals with the active participation of farmers and entrepreneurs.
- Assistance in the development of hygienic butcheries in the private sector of Gilgit-Baltistan.
- Capacity building of Yak entrepreneurs for value addition, meat production, processing and quality.
- Artificial Insemination of Semen has been done 132 Local cows Females Yaks
- Number of 04 Butcheries established in District Gilgit, Ghizer and Skardu
- No of 550 Yak/ zho animals dewormed.
- No of 400 Yak/ zho animals registered
- Self-employment generation
