SCOPE
- Establishment of a Monitoring & Evaluation Cell in Plan Wing M/o NFS&R to manage a large portfolio of development projects through a better and more efficient project coordination, proper reporting system and feedback to higher authorities of M/o NFS&R and Planning Commission about the development project through desk and field monitoring of all development projects.
- Effective monitoring and Evaluation of the development projects of the agriculture sector.
- Establish a reference digital library in M/o NFS&R wherein the data of all projects will be compiled.
- Skill enhancement of the officers and staff of the Plan Section of M/o NFS&R and Project In-charges/Directors of projects of attached departments, through training in project management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
- Help in preparation and processing of new projects for approval by M/o NFS&R / attached departments
- Help/Guide the Project In-charge/Director of development projects in project related matters
- Effective coordination between M/o NFS&R and its attached department regarding development projects.
- Effective control of the Ministry over the development projects under its sponsorship
- Recruitment process completed.
- Tendering of computers, office equipment’s, stationery etc are in process
To enhance the efficiency of the M/o NFS&R in monitoring and evaluation of the development projects pertaining to the agriculture sector under its control and give suitable guidelines and advice to the project executing agencies to enable them to implement development projects more efficiently
